0 Sauces and Seasoning

Avocado Cream Sauce

Ingredients

  • 1 ripe avocado
  • 1/2 cup of Greek yogurt or sour cream
  • 2 large cloves of minced garlic
  • juice from 1/2 a lime (1Tbsp)
  • 1/4-1/2 teaspoon of salt (to taste)
  • 1/8 teaspoon of fresh cracked black pepper

Directions

  • Place avocado, yogurt, garlic, and lime juice in a blender (or a bullet due to it’s smaller size). Process until completely smooth.
  • Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  • Serve immediately or cover tightly.

Notes

  • When tightly covered, sauce will keep in refrigerator for up to 48 hours.
